Un grande regista, dei grandi attori e, cosa non scontata, un grandissimo film. Il coraggio di affrontare la figura di Darwin in modo non scontato, non piegata per sostenere una tesi di parte ma descritto a partire dalla sua umanità. Creation è un film del 2009. Non è mai stato distribuito nelle sale italiane. NON E' STATO NEANCHE DOPPIATO IN ITALIANO PER ACQUISTARLO IN DVD!!! A tutt'oggi si può vedere solo in streaming, eliminando così il grande pubblico. The year has barely begun, yet we already have a safe bet for best actress of 2010. Jenny, in Jon Amiel’s “Creation,” is certainly a hell of a role, beginning with an action sequence in the nude, switching to a flirtation scene—in which Jenny wears bloomers and a knitted top—with an ardent admirer, and closing with her demise, filmed in unremitting sorrow.

This one means well, a kiss-of-death review if there ever was one. Paul Bettany takes an earnest shot at playing Charles Darwin, a 19th-century man obsessed with monkeys, the origin of the species, the death of his favorite daughter and the disapproval of his religious wife (Jennifer Connelly).
