Film parodistico sul mondo dei supereroi, racconta di un ragazzo americano che vorrebbe avere dei super poteri. Una voglia talmente potente da portarlo ad andare in giro con un costume idiota, combinando solo guai. Dopo l'ennesimo disastro, un giudice lo condanna finalmente ad unirsi ad un gruppo di veri supereroi conosciuti come i Super Capers, ma questo darà vita ad una avventura inattesa.
At one point in the painful spoof "Super Capers," someone says, "It's not funny, Ed, not funny at all." While the speaker is criticizing the movie's klutzy main character, would-be superhero Ed Gruberman (Justin Whalin), she could just as well be describing the film itself.
